Call for Proposals

Planning for the 2025 Plastics Recycling Conference is currently in progress, and we are actively developing our agenda. We are committed to curating sessions that address the most critical issues and advancements within the plastics industry. Please note that submitting a proposal does not guarantee selection of your topic, speakers or yourself as a presenter at the conference. Additionally, due to the dynamic nature of the industry, your proposed topic or speaker may already be under consideration as part of our ongoing development.

Proposal Submission Guidelines

1. Proposal Focus

  • We are looking for proposals that address [specific areas of interest or categories, e.g., "environmental sustainability," "community engagement," "technological innovation"].

  • Proposals should clearly outline [specific expectations, e.g., "the problem being addressed, the proposed solution, and the expected outcomes"].

2. Eligibility:

  • Proposals are welcome from individuals, nonprofit organizations, academic institutions, startups, consulting firms, trade associations, and any one/group engaged in the plastics recycling and management industry.

3. Submission Requirements

    • Title of the Session

    • Objectives/Key Takeaways
      A brief overview of the project and what new information the audience will learn from the presentation.

    • Brief Session Summary
      Key discussion points; examples including but not limited to best practices, pilot study results, innovative findings, challenges and outcomes.

    • Target Audience

    • Potential Speakers

    • Additional Information
      Any additional information relevant to evaluating the proposal.

4. Submission Process

  • Proposals must be submitted via our online submission form by October 31, 2024

  • Please do not email submissions. Only proposals submitted via the online submission form will be considered. 

5. Selection Criteria

  • Proposals will be evaluated based on the following criteria:

    • Relevance: We are seeking innovative and impactful ideas that align with our goal of advancing plastics recycling. 

    • Innovation: The originality and creativity of the proposed idea.

    • Impact: The potential impact on the plastics industry.

  • Submission of a proposal is not a guarantee of acceptance to present at the 2025 Plastics Recycling Conference. 

6. Notification:

  • Selected proposals will be notified in January 2025.

  • Successful applicants will be invited to present at the 2025 Plastics Recycling Conference, or may be considered for future engagements such as webinars.
