Brian King, Executive Vice President of Marketing and Product Management, Advanced Drainage Systems

Brian King joined Advanced Drainage Systems (ADS) in September of 2020 and serves as executive vice president of product management and marketing. He is responsible for leading marketing strategy and increasing customer demand. Before joining ADS, King served in a variety of roles with Owens Corning, Stanley Black and Decker, Elmer’s and Avery Dennison. He has 25 years of experience in product management and business-to-business, business-to-consumer and direct-to-customer marketing.

Jeff Snyder, Director of Recycling, Rumpke

Jeff Snyder started his career with WestRock in 1991. He joined that company’s recycling division in 2008 where he ran several recycling plants across the South and Midwest. In 2014, Snyder joined Pratt Industries, serving as Midwest mill buyer and operations manager, where he oversaw the sourcing of 50,000 tons per month of fiber. In 2020, Snyder joined Rumpke as corporate senior recycling manager. In September of 2021, Snyder was promoted to director of recycling at Rumpke Waste & Recycling.

Michael Pluimer, Director of Advanced Materials Center, University of Minnesota-Duluth 

Dr. Michael Pluimer is the director of the Advanced Materials Center at the University of Minnesota-Duluth. He has worked in technical and management engineering positions in several industries, including power equipment design and development, bioenergy research and development, and the plastics and plastic piping industries. He was previously the director of the Engineering of the Plastics Pipe Institute CPPA Division from 2005 to 2013 and the director of Texas Research International's Pipe Division from 2013 to 2014.

Cody Marshall, Chief of System Optimization, The Recycling Partnership

Cody Marshall has led projects across the recycling supply chain. He started by managing city and county recycling operations in Orange County, North Carolina, where he saw firsthand how to make a lasting difference in waste diversion at the local level. From there, he became a Senior Consultant for sustainability and recycling consulting firm RRS, where he helped build The Recycling Partnership model. At The Partnership, Marshall leads a team of experienced problem solvers to provide grants, assistance and proven technical resources to local and state recycling programs and processing facilities throughout the U.S.
